Blow Through Screener

The Blow Thru Sieve functions as a check-screening separator under positive pressure and is suitable for use in pneumatic conveying systems in various bulk solids handling settings. Its enclosure is a pressure vessel that has been engineered to operate under a maximum pressure of 14.5 psi (g).

Dry powders are fed into the sieve tangentially through a flexible process hose connected to the offloading tanker/hopper. Vibratory motion is used to move the material through a mesh screen inside the sieve, which separates oversize particles that remain on the screen from undersize particles that exit through the outlet. The latter are transported to a receiving hopper using another flexible process hose. The design of the inlet and outlet nozzles minimizes system pressure losses caused by the sieve.
